OK, so let’s see. First 60 Minutes correspondent Charlie Rose was let go due to sexual accusations. Just a few days ago, CBS Chairman Leslie Moonves stepped down due to inappropriate sexual conduct. And now, 60 Minutes producer Jeff Fager has been fired due to threatening texts telling journalists at the network to back off their #MeToo investigations.

CBS Chairman And CEO Les Moonves stepped down today as six new women accused the media mogul of sexual abuse on top of already made accusations. Moonves has served as an executive with CBS in some capacity for over 23 years, assuming the Chairman role in 2016. In this #MeToo year, he is the latest to be brought down by his private exploits.
During a recess of a Capitol Hill social media hearing today, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and Infowars host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones had a bit of a dust up in the hallways of the Senate.
Jones disrupted Rubio’s press conference with reporters on a Senate hearing in which technology executives from Twitter and Facebook were testifying about foreign influence on their platforms.
Rubio called Jones a “dumbass” and tried to laugh off his interruption. However, the confrontation escalated after Rubio told Jones not to touch him after Jones placed his hand on Rubio’s shoulder while the senator was speaking to reporters.

Actress and filmmaker Asia Argento has found herself on the other side of the #MeToo conversation.
The New York Times reported Sunday that months after publicly accusing Harvey Weinstein of rape, Argento made a deal with a young actor who accused her of sexual assault.
Argento was among the first women to accuse now disgraced movie mogul Weinstein of sexual misconduct and has been a leading figure in the #MeToo movement.
The New York Times says it has lawyers’ documents showing that actor and musician Jimmy Bennett alleged Argento sexually assaulted him in 2013 when he was 17 and she was 37.
According to the publication, Bennett said the assault took place at a hotel in California, where the age of consent is 18. Bennett played Argento’s son in the 2004 movie “The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things.” Argento directed the film as well.
Argento is having a brutal year with the Weinstein accusation, the suicide death of boyfriend / celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain and now this…
