Director Ingmar Bergman’s classic film “The Seventh Seal” debuted 60 years ago today on October 13th, 1958. The movie tells the story of a medieval knight, portrayed by actor Max von Sydow, who tries to outwit the incarnation of Death, who has come to take his life.

Of course, the film has been spoofed countless times, most notably in the 1991 feature “Bill And Ted’s Bogus Journey”.
