In case you missed last night’s incredible Monday Night Football game, the final score was Los Angeles Rams 54 – Kansas City Chiefs 51.
That made the game the highest scoring game in Monday Night Football history. All sorts of passing records were set as two young quarterbacks left it all on the field in a back and forth game.
Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw 6 TD passes and for 478 yards in a losing effort. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff threw for 4 TD passes and 413 yards for the win.
It was the first time in NFL football history that a team who scored 50 points lost.
Great game. We don’t think anyone would have a problem seeing these two teams face-off again in the Super Bowl. Of course, other teams like New Orleans, New England, Houston, Pittsburgh and Chicago are all going to have a say as to whether that happens.
