During the Los Angeles Rams 36-31 victory over the Seattle Seahawks yesterday, L.A. quarterback yelled out the name “Halle Berry” to signal to his offense an audible against the Seattle defense. Interestingly enough, Ms. Berry actually heard her name called as she was watching the game. Upon hearing her name, she tweeted to the Rams and Goff, “What is a Halle Berry?”.
When Goff learned that Halle Berry had heard his audible call to change the play, he was surprised and laughed. Later he coyly responded on Twitter that a “Halle Berry is his favorite play ever”.
Reporters pressed to find out what the play actually entailed, but Rams head coach Sean McVay and quarterback Goff chose not to divulge the details.
