Call Him The Brees.
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees set the all time career passing yards record last night on Monday Night Football against the Washington Redskins. Brees passed the record previously held by quarterback Peyton Manning with a 62 yard touchdown pass. The Saints immediately celebrated the accomplishment as Brees handed the football to a representative of the Canton Football Hall Of Fame and shared a moment with his family. The Saints went on to beat the Redskins 43-19.
**NOTE** – Starting tomorrow 10/10, this will become the Image Of The Day instead of Image Metaphor Of The Day. So, to use the proper nomenclature, we are dropping “Metaphor” from the title. Deal.
