Twenty five years ago today on September 3rd, 1993, the movie “Kalifornia” starring Brad Pitt, Juliette Lewis and David Duchovny was released. The film was the story of a couple researching serial killings in America who coincidentally meet up with a serial killer and his young girlfriend on a dark country road trip. It was a metaphor for Americans need to be voyeurs to the nastiest, dirtiest, tabloid stories and the insatiable blood lust it riles up.
