San Francisco, a city with virtually no sense of reality, celebrated former hero Barry Bonds today by retiring his jersey number at AT&T Stadium. The home run king with the major asterisk championed himself as king of the ballpark 11 years after he unceremoniously retired due to accusations of PED usage. To date, Bonds has still not been voted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame in Cooperstown, New York due to the controversy cloud which hangs over his head. At least for one day though, San Francisco Giants baseball fans were oblivious to the fact.
